DiPierro and Brown Construction works out of 271 Salem Street in Woburn and covers Greater Boston, taking jobs from single-room remodels up to ground-up buildings. Its Houzz page lists 22 projects and a typical job cost between $150,000 and $2 million, including one on Pauline Street in Winthrop. The company says Rob DiPierro and Vincent Brown, both trained carpenters, started it in 2012 and grew it from residential remodelling into a full design-build, construction-management and general contracting firm, with Brown bringing more than 30 years in estimating and construction. It also lists itself as a real-estate developer working commercial, healthcare, institutional and residential projects. Most of what homeowners have written is several years old, and it is consistently positive. In a July 2019 review a couple described a kitchen and bathroom remodel where the crew coached them through decisions and held to the budget they had set. Another 2019 reviewer hired them for a brand-new four-story building in South Boston and said the price was competitive and the timeline held; a third that year had a deck replaced and a window changed, calling the deck incredibly sturdy. A 2017 reviewer got a finished attic on time and on budget, with questions answered within hours. Shorter five-star Google comments through late 2022 and early 2023 repeat the same themes, one from a customer whose house they built from scratch. The one discordant note is recent and is not about the work: in January 2026 a Google reviewer described being cut off by a company salt truck and an argument that followed, and rated them one star. On Google the running average is 4.4 from 14 ratings; on Houzz it is 5.0 from seven. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. Houzz separately prints a Construction Supervisor licence number, CS-107100, and the company's own site says Rob DiPierro holds a construction supervisor licence without giving a number — those are listings rather than confirmations, so ask to see the current card. A sensible call for a substantial Woburn-area renovation, addition or new build at six figures and up. Ask for photos and references from jobs finished in the last two years, since most written accounts of their work are older than that.
