Both platforms show 4.8 from 103 ratings, and the written accounts run 2016 to 2023: interior and exterior painting, plaster and drywall, ceiling skim coats, floor sanding, and the carpentry that has to happen before the paint. Two accounts stand out. In a 2020 review, a homeowner described an exterior repaint of a five-bedroom house where a garage window and a basement window were replaced first. A 2017 customer said his proposal arrived broken out room by room against his own must-have and nice-to-have list, and that the cost afterwards was reasonable — a level of quoting detail that shows up repeatedly in that era's reviews. Another 2017 homeowner wrote that walls in bad shape were prepped until they looked new. Age is the catch. Nothing written has landed since May 2023, so the history behind that 4.8 is real but not current. Ask for two or three jobs finished in the last year and call those homeowners yourself.
