Bathrooms are where Phillip De Melo's customers keep sending him. A homeowner writing in January 2025 had the downstairs bathroom taken back to nothing and the upstairs shower replaced, and said the finish went beyond what they had pictured; another, in September 2025, had a master bath and a half bath remodeled and praised the subcontractors he brought in as much as his own work. A real estate agent writing that month said she has sent client after client his way and been thanked for it. Divine Home Improvement is Phillip De Melo — the company's own site describes him as founder and lead, and its BBB profile lists a single employee, its president. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active. The site puts him in Walpole and describes interior and exterior remodeling with a bathroom, kitchen and full-interior focus; the BBB and Houzz profiles carry a Medfield address. The work is not only bathrooms. A Houzz customer in 2024 had a whole basement remodeled with a bathroom added; another in January 2026 had the basement redone and kitchen cabinets refinished; and in June 2026, a homeowner who came by a friend's recommendation had a three-season porch rebuilt after winter water damage, describing Phil as patient and fair through the process. A customer in August 2026 said a renovation landed on time with communication all the way through, and a 2025 client who had two bathrooms done has him back for the front and back porches. How long the business has been running depends on the source: the company's own site says over 15 years of remodeling experience, while its BBB profile records seven years in business, and notes the business is not BBB accredited. The written history is small — ten accounts, all from 2024 onward, though every one is positive and several come from repeat customers. For a bathroom gut, a basement conversion or a porch rebuild where one person stays on the job from quote to punch list, this is a strong call. Ask which parts he subcontracts and how the schedule works if two of your rooms are in play at once.
Philip and team helped us with a renovation project recently. They did a very good job and completed the project on time. Philip communicated with us through out the project. We will use them again.
Divine Home Improvement was recommended by a friend. They helped us restore and improve a three season porch that was water-damaged from the winter. Phil was professional, patient, and fair throughout the process, and we were happy with the results of his work. We would hire this company again.
Phillip has done exceptional work on multiple projects ranging from redoing our basement to refinishing our kitchen cabinets. I highly recommend him for any household job.
Phil is a great guy and he and his crew did such a great job on our two bathrooms. His work is professional and clean. We're now using Phil to replace our front and back porches.
I highly recommend Phil and Divine Home Improvement. Phil completely remodeled our master bath and half bath. They both came out great! Phil's work and attention to detail are excellent. He is patient, flexible and a good communicator. We were also pleased with his subcontractors. I have already contacted him to redo our deck.
