DJ's Landscape Supply Yard is a Boylston, Massachusetts operation that sells bulk landscaping materials — mulch, topsoil, decorative stone, pavers, gravel, and firewood — with local delivery, and according to its own site also handles excavation, hauling, and installation for bigger jobs. A local news feature named DJ Davidian as the person behind it. The Google record is about as strong as they come: 5 stars from 49 ratings, and the 42 quoted reviews from 2022 through 2026 tell a remarkably consistent story. Reviewers keep coming back to the same things — DJ or a staff member personally walking customers through which mulch, stone, or paver fits their project, deliveries that show up fast (including a same-day rescue for a garden bed job and a same-morning multi-location run), and an operation that will sell a homeowner a few buckets of topsoil just as readily as a full truckload. In a 2026 review, a customer described DJ transforming a rocky, boulder-strewn yard into a usable play space for their kids after other landscapers had turned the job down. Others describe real installation work beyond the retail counter: a walkway and cobblestone driveway repair, replaced pavers cut to fit on the spot, and — in reviews from 2023 and 2022 — a full patio and pool area, plus a built-in firepit. Recent activity backs this up: 23 of the 42 reviews are from the last six months, and 22 of those are positive. The one exception is a 3-star review from June 2026, where a customer who couldn't drive to the yard for medical reasons said a same-day order didn't come together, even while praising the delivery driver by name — a one-off complaint against dozens of detailed, positive accounts. There's no state license or BBB record on file, but landscaping-only work like this isn't required to carry a Massachusetts home improvement registration, so that absence isn't a red flag by itself. For anyone in the Boylston area buying mulch, stone, or soil by the truckload or the bucket — or looking for someone to install a walkway, patio, or firepit — DJ's has an unusually deep and consistent record to back it up; it's worth calling ahead if a delivery is needed on short notice.

DJ completely transformed our property. We live on an effective granite quarry. Our "yard" was a tangle of hills, roots, moss, mud and gigantic, sharp boulders. Many landscapers and hardscapers took one look at our property and told us to try and make do with what we have. We have children who love to play outside, and we set our expectations rock bottom (pun intended). I randomly called DJ on a whim after looking at some reviews here and expected the same advice - flatten a small area enough for a swing set, make do. Instead, DJs vision came together the moment he stepped out. "If this were my property, I would..." and proceeded to tell me things I didn't know were physically possible. "Smash down that rock ridge" and "line up those boulders for a rock wall" and "rip out the fence and those trees". We were quickly hit with the realization that there was no way we could afford that kind of work. That was until he quoted us a very reasonable price for such massive grading. DJ and his crew got right to work and in a month, we had a backyard. I need to be explicit here about the extent of the effort. Before DJ, there was NO flat space anywhere and no patch of grass for my kids, not even a water table. After DJ was done, my kids are playing in a big open grassy yard, with lawn and water toys. I can set up tables and tents as if I were at the park. The work was meticulous and DJs communication was very clear and consistent. For weeks, his crew smashed and flattened and dumped truck after truck of fill, always courteous and happy to work under the watchful eye of our 1 year old. DJ was also careful to review and consult regarding our septic so the right machinery used and depth of fill was added in the right places. The project never went off budget, and DJ delivered to us more than just an outdoor project. He created a place where we will have years of memories playing outside with our kids on our big, open, safe lawn. Thank you DJ, you really can move mountains. The Allan Family
Dave is very helpful and reasonably priced. Delivery was easy.
DJ was very helpful and knowledgeable about different products. They let us pick a small quantity of material ourselves - not everybody does, some yards sell their materials as delivery only. They are open on Saturdays, too!
Amazing for both home owners and Landscapers! Great pricing, phenomenal pricing, and extremely friendly service. I'll be using them for all my clients needs
What a friendly and helpful business to deal with. Great price, fast service and I get to support local too! Thanks DJ's!
