Donahue Lawn Care is a small Danvers lawn-maintenance outfit, and the clearest picture of it comes from an unlikely place: a drought story. When CBS Boston covered Danvers banning outdoor water use in August 2022, it was Tim Donahue they put on camera as the owner, describing a business down to 10% of its usual mowing and trucking in water to keep going. That is a maintenance business, not a design-build one — recurring mowing accounts on residential and small commercial properties around Danvers and the surrounding North Shore towns. The written customer record is thin and dated. One review, from October 2020, called the crew polite and the work well done; nothing more recent has been written down anywhere findable. That is not the same as a bad history, but it does mean there is no current written account of how the company runs today, six seasons on. If you want a straightforward mowing and lawn-maintenance crew close to home, they are worth a call — but ask for two or three current local references rather than relying on what is written online, and confirm what the seasonal contract covers before signing.
