The customer service don’t have a clue what to say about third party estimates and what’s all about. They just tell you to take the cash- in-lieu, so I did and fixed by my end
First time having my 3 years young HVAC system serviced. Based on a recommendation from neighbor, I called Douglas Mechanical and quickly had a no-hassle appointment three days later. I had full service maintenance because this was the first time. I was impressed by an early arrival, a statement of approximate length of visit, and a confirmed price. I highly recommend Douglas, and George, based on knowledge, timeliness, willingness to answer questions, professionalism, and overall thoughtfulness when entering and exiting premises. An apprentice, John, came later to perform some end of service requirements. I must also say that having called the office a couple of times for clarification on my contract they, too, were helpful and my questions were answered on the spot. Overall, I’m happy with the service I received. I had a little trouble getting on the schedule and was disappointed by how long it took, but I understand how busy AC companies are with the heat we’re experiencing right now. Once the appointment was scheduled, everything went smoothly. The technician arrived early, communicated well, and completed the work correctly. I have an American Home Shield warranty, and the service was handled professionally. Despite the initial scheduling delay, I’m very satisfied with the final result.
