Duane's Custom Carpentry describes itself as a Sterling, MA custom carpentry business offering built-ins, bathroom and kitchen cabinetry, and mudrooms. A 2017 Houzz customer said Duane drew the plans, revised them with them, and then built and assembled built-in cabinets in their home that they said matched the rest of the woodwork. A 2017 customer wrote that their project required more than the built-in: Duane had to move a door from one side of a closet to the other, and he showed up when he said he would. A designer based in Concord wrote in 2017 that they had used Duane twice for built-ins in their own home, including a banquette, bookcases, a large entertainment center and mudroom cubbies, and had him install kitchen cabinetry he did not build.
Duane was amazing! Showed up when he said he would, right on time! Took the time to understand what we were looking for. The project required more than just the built-in. He had to move a door from one side of a closet to the other to make this all work. He created exactly what we envisioned! Would highly recommend!!
We were extremely pleased with Duane's attention to detail. After drawing the plans he consulted with us and revised them to be exactly what we wanted. We were impressed with how quickly he was able to construct and then assemble the piece in our home. The quality of the materials and how well the built-in matches the rest of the woodwork is perfect. Our built-in cabinets are now the focal point of our first floor and we have already received numerous compliments. We can't wait to work with Duane again!
I am a designer based in Concord (Fresh Start Interiors) and have used Duane twice for built-ins in my own home. He is very talented and he delivers really beautiful finely made custom built-ins. I've had him do a banquette, bookcases, large entertainment center and mudroom cubbies. All were beautiful, well constructed and got many compliments. I have even used his stellar carpentry services to install kitchen cabinetry which he did not build - although he crafts gorgeous custom cabinets as well! Duane is a personable, fair and responsive professional who is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.
