It holds 4.9 stars from 58 Google ratings and 4.9 from 55 on both HomeAdvisor and Angi, with written reviews going back to 2015. Andrew is the name that comes up in this year's reviews, for estimates and questions. A June 2026 customer asked him for alternate quotes before settling on a wood fence; an April 2026 reviewer said he came out at the end of the day with catalogues to plan a small fence hiding two propane cylinders. Two 2026 reviews, from April and July, say the crew washed the fence when they were done. Four 2026 reviews come from returning customers. A September 2026 reviewer had rotted rails replaced on a split-rail garden fence Durham installed about 15 years earlier, with the crew working around the garden's irrigation and pumpkin vines. A May 2026 customer had a tree-damaged section replaced, and an August 2026 reviewer said they had worked with Durham for about 10 years, from small chain-link jobs to full site projects. In a July 2025 review, a homeowner said Durham matched an existing fence design and replaced only the broken section after other companies said the whole section had to go. The criticisms are specific. A January 2026 4-star reviewer said installation came a couple of weeks later than quoted, into frost season, with one post set low and a mesh seam on the street side. In a 2021 Angi review, a customer who had paid more than $10,000 for a fence and gate said a replacement gate cracked and broke off within three days in winter, and the company refused to replace it and blamed the customer for leaving the gate open. A 2017 Houzz reviewer said the estimate covered only a quarter of the yard, the wrong picket caps were installed, and vinyl posts had heaved within about three and a half years, with four calls in a year unanswered.
