Dust to Shine, LLC

Dust to Shine is a Jaffrey, NH house-cleaning company that Donna Senechal has owned and run since founding it in 1999, serving homes and businesses across the Monadnock region. The written record here runs unusually deep for a small cleaning company — reviews date back to 2008 — but it comes in two distinct clusters. The earlier one, from 2008 through 2014, is mostly warm: reviewers describe Donna personally and by name as professional, thorough, and responsive, with the reliability that mattered most to people who'd cycled through unreliable housecleaners before her. One 2014 review in that cluster was a real complaint, though — the crew sometimes finished early and left, but the customer was still billed for the full two hours. After a gap of several years, the more recent reviews pick back up in 2021 and 2023, still describing Donna and her crew as professional, flexible about schedule changes, and doing an "excellent job" cleaning a family home. But the newest review on file, from July 2025, is negative and hard to pin down: it says the company "managed to spur legal trouble between two clients" and doesn't recommend them, without explaining what happened. New Hampshire doesn't license house-cleaning businesses, so there's no state credential to check. Angi and HomeAdvisor mirror the same 11 older reviews rather than offering independent totals. For routine home cleaning in the Monadnock region, the bulk of this company's history points to dependable, personally-run service — the 2025 complaint is vague enough to weigh carefully rather than dismiss, and worth asking about directly before booking.
