The Yarmouth Port business describes itself as a family-owned company serving Cape Cod and surrounding areas since 1971, with plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, generator installation and kitchen-and-bath remodeling among its offerings. Its stated reach extends across Cape Cod and into the Plymouth-Wareham area. The January 2025 Google reviewer said they had hired Winslow for that bathroom renovation and boiler installation, as well as AC servicing and leaky-faucet repairs. They praised both the people answering the phone and the professionals doing the work. Older Houzz customers describe a range of repair calls: in October 2019, one reported a plumbing repair and new water heater; a July 2020 reviewer described replacement piping for an outdoor shower. A June 2019 customer said several lights and outlets had been installed. Heating and cooling accounts include time-sensitive work, with their dates worth keeping in view. In June 2019, a vacation-rental customer wrote that an AC problem arose during a three-day gap between guests. Freeman called the morning after the customer's message, scheduled service for the next day, and the customer said the AC was working for the next check-in. A June 2018 reviewer described calling Winslow during a bitterly cold Christmas week after repeated furnace trouble; the customer said Winslow identified corrosion on the motor and replaced it immediately. These are past customer experiences, rather than a current scheduling guarantee. Stephen Winslow's Massachusetts master plumber license, 12298-PL-M, is active according to the state registry. The company's website also states other license numbers, including electrical and home-improvement credentials. Those are the company's claims. Google rates the business 4.3 stars from three ratings, while Houzz reports 4.2 stars from 14 ratings. The most recent written complaint is about appointments: a June 2026 Houzz reviewer said they scheduled service through the website twice, and no one arrived or communicated either time. In August 2020, a satisfied kitchen-work customer described the company as somewhat more expensive than others. An October 2018 reviewer praised polite, punctual technicians but said the job took longer than expected.
