Horvitz Plumbing & Heating

Horvitz Plumbing & Heating is a locally and family-owned Boston, Massachusetts plumbing and HVAC contractor self-reporting 94 years in business, founded in 1932, offering plumbing, heating, air conditioning, water heater, gas fitting, drain cleaning, and remodeling services. The company holds an active Massachusetts plumber license. The review history is large and unusually consistent: 41 quoted reviews spanning 2022 through 2026 are virtually all five-star, describing water heater replacements, boiler and HVAC repairs, faucet and dishwasher installations, and pipe replacements. Technicians Nate, Michael, and Nikoli are each named repeatedly for prompt diagnosis, clear explanations of the work, and clean job sites, and office staff member Odette is called out often for responsive scheduling. Several reviewers describe years-long relationships with the company — one recounts about eight service calls since 2022, all on time and fairly priced. Worth asking about before booking: one 2025 review described the pricing as a little high, though still worth it for the result. For Boston-area homeowners needing plumbing or HVAC work, the depth, recency, and consistency of this review record — with only 10 reviews in the last six months and none negative — is a strong signal.
