East Coast Asbestos Abatement, LLC removes and tests for asbestos. On its BBB profile the company describes safe removal, disposal and testing of asbestos in residential and commercial properties, and on HomeAdvisor it says it has over 25 years of experience in testing and abatement. HomeAdvisor shows 4.7 stars from 30 ratings, and BBB gives it an A+. A 2021 customer with an old house in Cranston said there were a lot of asbestos-covered pipes in the basement, including in two hard-to-reach crawl spaces, and that Steve and his team did the abatement. The same 2021 customer wrote that if you came down to that basement now, you would doubt there had ever been asbestos. A 2021 customer who placed the request through Homeserve said Steve, the company owner, discussed the job over the phone and quoted a price, then arrived with Tony two days later. In that 2021 account, Tony wrapped and removed the asbestos while dressed in a protective suit and mask, and vacuumed the area. A 2021 customer said Steve came out the same day to look over the job and called with a price. A 2022 customer wrote that the work was not sub-contracted out and that the company owner was onsite the entire time. A 2020 customer said Steve arrived a few minutes early, completed the job on time and sprayed sealant on the pipes in some areas. That 2020 customer found some water on the floor from the removal afterward; Steve said it was not toxic and offered to come back to clean it up.
