Easy Painting is a three-person Malden crew, and the man behind it puts his name to it: Gustavo, who says he has been painting for more than twenty years. The range is wide for a shop this size — interiors and exteriors, cabinets, decks and fences, wallpaper stripped and drywall patched, plus commercial repaints and apartment turnovers. Twenty-five job photos sit on its Thumbtack page. The written history is a single review, posted in July 2023, and it is a good one: a bathroom painted "fast efficient, great job", with the customer saying they would bring the crew back for the living room and kitchen. One voice, though, not a pattern. The thing that doesn't line up is how long the company has been at it. Its own site says since 2015; the Thumbtack profile says 16 years in business; Gustavo's note on that same profile says he opened the company "a few years ago". That is worth asking about directly. For a room, a cabinet job or an exterior in Malden, Medford, Everett, Revere or Melrose, they are a reasonable call — get the quote in writing, and ask for two or three recent local references, because there is very little written history to lean on.
