Ecomax Spray Foam

A homeowner whose previous contractor had ghosted them for several weeks wrote in a March 2021 review that Ecomax came in, gave the estimate, started promptly and had the three-day job finished less than a week later. Spray foam is what this Cherry Valley company sells — closed-cell in attics, crawl spaces and basements, with fiberglass when a job calls for it. Ecomax Insulation, Inc. trades out of 51 Redfield Road and, by the Better Business Bureau's file, has been in business since 2016; Angi and HomeAdvisor both list ten years of experience and Spanish spoken. Marcio is the name reviewers use throughout, and two customers in late 2024 credited Herika with staying on top of their jobs. The written history runs from 2017 to 2026: 5 stars from 8 Google ratings, and 5.0 from 20 reviews on Angi. Trade customers make up part of it — a home remodeling company wrote in December 2024 that it had worked with the crew on several jobs since first hiring them for spray foam three years earlier, and a March 2025 reviewer working across several projects called them professional, timely and affordable. This August, a customer wrote that Marcio does what he says he is going to do and stands behind his business; in April 2026, another said the closed-cell foam in a room they had renovated made a noticeable difference from the rest of the house. The older accounts describe the same work: closed-cell foam in an attic in a 2022 review, five inches of it in a crawl space in 2017, a fieldstone basement over a century old brought back in early 2022, and a swap from fiberglass to spray foam in November 2024. Cleaning up comes up in six reviews between 2017 and 2024 — floors covered, the house left tidy — and a September 2017 customer noted the crew took the old insulation away with them. The exception is the only review below five stars: in April 2021, a customer said the insulation was done well and the crew showed up and finished on time, but that they could have done better at cleaning up. Two practical details sit on the Angi profile: payment is credit card only, and no warranties are listed. For an attic, crawl space or basement foam job around Worcester — including one another contractor has walked away from — this is a direct call to make. Get the scope and the estimate in writing, and ask up front what happens if the foam needs attention after the crew leaves.
