On licensing, BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts construction supervisor licence, CS-062349, plus a second number, 216952, filed under both "Residential Builder" and "Building Contractor". Neither was confirmed against the state here, and BuildZoom's own page does not treat the second one as checked. Confirm CS-062349 with the Department of Public Safety yourself, and ask him directly about home improvement contractor registration before signing anything. If you want a roof stripped and replaced in Danvers, Beverly, Peabody or Middleton, his permits say he has done that repeatedly and at ordinary residential prices. Because there is no written customer history to lean on, do the legwork the reviews would normally do: ask for two or three recent local addresses, a certificate of insurance, and licence numbers you can check yourself.
