A 2025 Google customer said the work ran from insulating the attic to installing a new basement door and frame. A 2022 Google reviewer said Josh insulated their garage and the apartment above it and helped them learn the new codes so the project passed all inspections. In a 2020 HomeAdvisor review, a customer said Josh Turgeon assessed and remediated insulation issues in a basement crawl space through Maine's rebate program, then returned and sealed the worst of the air leakage in the house. It holds 5 stars on Google from 15 ratings and 4.9 stars from 13 ratings on both HomeAdvisor and Angi.
The air sealing, ventilation, and insulation project on our home in York was our second time working with Efficient Home Services, and as with the previous job, the entire experience was top notch, including communication, scheduling, cleanliness, and the final outcome. Josh performed blower door tests during multiple phases of the project, and the results far exceeded our expectations. We're looking forward to enjoying the cost savings and added comfort of our home for many years to come, and we highly recommend Efficient Home Services.
We could not be more pleased with Josh's work. He was incredibly thorough in his assessment of the air leaks in our home, came up with three different budget plans to mitigate the issues based on the highest priorities and tested at the end to ensure that the promised fixes in fact worked (in our case, he exceeded the promised goals). Not only did he make sure that his fixes were functional, but also made sure the work looked good, even in the basement. Beyond the work he completed, Josh was punctual, good at communicating when he'd be working at the house, patiently answered all of my questions and always cleaned up the work areas before leaving each day. Extremely professional and takes pride in his work, highly recommended!
Working with Josh was a delight. He was highly knowledgeable in the process of making our drafty house much more efficient. From insulating our attic to installing a new basement door and frame nothing was done without skill, attention and thoroughness. Hiring his services was a great investment in our home.
He is awesome. Very knowledgeable about the effects of energy for homes. Glad I applied to NH Energy Saves. Josh was very aware of my animals 2 small dogs and cats in and out of the house ok with me. He completed on time what he quoted for dates. He also cleaned up very well after each job.
I would definitely work with Josh again. Principled in his system design, detail oriented, and super easy (and a pleasure) to work with. He took the time to understand what we were looking for and to answer all our questions and consider different options. Very happy with the results — exceeded expectations.
