Update: Shortly after my review, the company reached out to resolve any issues I had. They let me know the employees were talked to in regards to their behavior on site, and they also provided compensation for the small damages. My new roof looks great and was installed quickly; it took 2 days instead of one because they had not ordered enough materials. My complaint is that the workers were not very professional. Immediately upon arriving, one of them dropped their drawers to pee in my yard. In taking off the old roof, they destroyed my flower bed and part of my gutter was damaged. Throughout the day they had thrown their own garbage all over, mainly drinks and snacks. These were eventually cleaned up, but some wrappers were scattered to the wind. Though almost everything was cleaned up promptly after finishing, I am still finding bits of garbage that they left behind throughout my property. These range from plastic wrappers to bits of the old roof and their own tools and materials. They also left the pallet of wood that the shingles were delivered on.
Elevation Roofing repaired and replaced some areas of damaged roof for me prior to my solar installation, with no up front costs to me. Although it felt like I had to chase the project manager down for scheduling and updates, once the crew was actually here, they did a great job! I was happy to find a roof specialist local to me in rural Maine and I'd recommend them to any Maine homeowner that needs a new roof!
