Elite Brush Remodeling is a small painting and remodeling outfit in Chelsea run by Daniel Oquendo Jimenez β by its own account, a family business four years old with two employees. Every review on file is from May 2025, and the same thing keeps coming up: Daniel shows up fast and explains what he's doing. One customer wrote that another painter had stood them up, and Daniel fit them into his schedule right away β very responsive, nice and easy to work with, with fresh paint that brightened the room. Another described a more involved job: peeling paint on a concrete basement floor, ahead of listing the house for sale. Daniel gave a reasonable estimate, explained the whole process, then sanded the floor, primed it, applied epoxy and finished with a topcoat, work the customer called honest, respectful and diligent, enough to book him again for a pool-plaster repair. Two other reviewers describe bigger scopes still β a bathroom done from scratch and a kitchen redo alongside painting the entire first floor β both finished, by the customers' accounts, with every requested detail followed through. On Thumbtack, the company lists interior painting, wallpaper removal and cabinet painting as its services, and its rating sits at 5.0 across 22 ratings there. The one thing worth noting before booking: every review on file so far comes from the same few months on one platform, so there isn't yet a long or varied track record to draw on β worth asking for a couple of recent references, especially for anything beyond a straightforward paint job. For interior painting, floor refinishing work, or a smaller remodel where a responsive, hands-on owner matters, the reviews on file describe a business that shows up and follows through β just confirm scope and timeline directly for anything bigger.

In preparation to list my house on the market within the next month, I needed help repairing the peeling paint on the concrete basement floor. Daniel came by to assess the issue and provided a very reasonable estimate. He clearly explained the entire process and even helped move the items out of the basement. He then sanded the floor, applied primer, painted it with epoxy, and finished with a topcoat. The floor looks incredible. I was truly impressed with his honesty, respectfulness, and diligenceβso much so that I've already decided to hire him again to repair my pool plaster. It's a shame my wife and I won't get to enjoy the new basement floor, but I hope the next owner makes the most of it.
Daniel helped me out big time when another painter did not show and fit me into his schedule right away. Very responsive, nice and easy to work with. The new paint looks great and the room is so much brighter! I will rehire Daniel and team without hesitation!!
They redid my kitchen and painted the entire first floor. They followed through on every detail I asked for
They painted the interior of my apartment and it turned out beautiful. They used quality materials and were very detail-oriented
They did my bathroom from scratch and also painted the entire hallway. Every step was clearly explained and the result was spectacular.
