Exeter Decorating Center

Exeter Decorating Center's Houzz profile describes the business as a seller of carpet, area rugs, ceramic tile, stone, hardwood, laminate, cork, linoleum and vinyl flooring, and says it has worked on the seacoast and beyond for over 30 years. Its website lists carpet, hardwood, laminate, tile, luxury vinyl, natural stone, countertops, window coverings and wallpaper among its products, and it offers free estimates. A recent customer said Exeter Decorating installed a new bathroom in about three and a half weeks, with each phase clearly communicated, and that Ralph, the owner, made sure all materials were ordered and available before construction started. A 2024 customer said the company replaced all the carpet, vinyl, tile and stair treads in the house with manufactured oak, and that the demolition and the installation were both fast. In that 2024 review, the customer added that the person who installed the wood paid attention to the wood grain detail. A 2015 Houzz customer said Ralph helped with carpet, hardwood and tile selections for a new home, worked with them on their budget, and that the installation went smoothly. A 2022 customer said expensive carpet installed on a second floor was falling apart a year later, with fibers that never stopped pilling, and that the shop did not respond when contacted in February and again in March.
