Those are the calls Exteriors Plus gets, and in reviews from 2022 and 2023 homeowners describe Sam and his crew showing up fast — one customer, writing in November 2022, said the owner came out on the Saturday of the storm to pull the loose fascia down and returned during the week to replace it. The company works out of Concord and, by its own account, covers Concord and Laconia. Its site describes a husband-and-wife, family-owned New Hampshire remodeling and general contracting business with over 34 years of combined experience, doing renovations, additions, decks, windows and siding, and insulation. It is accredited with the Better Business Bureau at an A+. On Google it carries 4.7 from 63 ratings, and Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.5 from 29. Three of the written accounts turn on price. In an April 2023 review, a homeowner said Sam quoted a high siding repair from photos texted over, came out the next day, and charged far less than two other companies had asked. A January 2023 customer needing a small patch of siding, after what they called exorbitant estimates elsewhere, had the crew finish in a day and a half. A February 2023 customer said he worked out a price on gutters when others wanted twice as much. Siding is the bulk of the work people describe — more than a dozen accounts cover vinyl, wood, hardiplank and trim, alongside gutters, fascia, aluminum window wrapping and roof repairs. A July 2022 customer said the crew matched their siding exactly where others had called it too much of a hassle. In a February 2024 review, a homeowner with an old house said Sam personally bid the siding and gutter repairs, stayed available throughout, walked the job with them before finishing, and found minor fixes they wouldn't have noticed and insisted on doing them. Decks show up too: an August 2026 customer liked that the deck-replacement price was broken out into demo of the old deck and construction of the new one. A few things are worth raising first. A May 2024 customer, happy with the deck and the cost, held back a star over how much effort they put into making sure things were right — they had expected that hiring a general contractor would mean not supervising the work. In February 2025, a customer whose roof had been done two years earlier wrote that it was leaking, that they had a warranty, and that they had spent a week calling Shane with no response. A June 2022 review on HomeAdvisor reported an erratic project timeline and unresolved contract and permit concerns.
