F.P Painting & Handyman is an East Boston, Massachusetts contractor whose own profile says it has served the greater Boston area for more than 15 years. The listed work centers on interior and exterior painting, with carpentry, sheetrock and drywall repair, tile flooring, decks, and fiberglass pool resurfacing also offered; the profile states that the company is fully insured and holds an HIC license. Directory pages list 25 years of experience and 22 recent projects, while a separate HomeAdvisor field describes the business as family-owned. The historical review record is mixed but specific. In 2018, one homeowner said the team handled several jobs, including an oven platform and basement-wall repairs, and praised their communication, hard work, cleanup, and finished work. Another 2018 review said a cart assembly was completed but took longer than expected and left packaging for the homeowner, while a separate review described a task that ran out of time. A 2018 five-star review reported two workers were friendly, professional, asked useful questions, and improved the plan during the work. The directories show a 4.8/5 rating from 52 ratings and a distribution of 87% five-star, 12% four-star, and 2% three-star ratings, but the detailed examples available here are older. The profile also reports 22 projects and free estimates. Before booking, confirm the exact scope, schedule, cleanup and disposal expectations, and the current status of the stated HIC license and insurance. This looks best suited to homeowners seeking a Boston-area painting or small multi-trade handyman project who want those details agreed in writing.

Great! Honest, trustworthy, good communicator. I used him for at least three or four projects including building a platform for when my new oven didn't quite fit in the space, plugging holes where mice were getting in the house, patching part of the basement wall that was crumbling after some water damage.
He did the job but it took a long time and he left a few minor steps. He did not charge for the extra time to complete but didn’t seem like he had done this type of work before. The one thing we did not like was that he did not cut up the box and materials the cart came in, so we had to spend time doing that ourselves
Frank assembled the cart fine. Was a little disappointed that it took him longer than I expected, but he stayed and finished the job. i wish he had taken the time to properly cut up the cardboard etc,. to make the packaging disposal easier for me.
It went Great! The 2 skilled workers were friendly, professional, explained things to me, and they even came up with a way to make one of my jobs better. They asked pertinent questions. They worked hard, cleaned up, had pride in their work, and they completed my jobs very well. I was very happy with the results of their work.
All but 1 task was completed- ran out of time to hang the mirror.
