Odd-sized doors are a running thread in FAB Enterprises' reviews. The Braintree carpentry business, which customers know as Frank, holds 5.0 stars from 29 ratings on Angi, and its written record runs from 2016 to 2025. The jobs are specific. In an April 2021 Angi review, a customer said Frank replaced a bulkhead door, an interior door and an exterior storm door, all with odd shapes and sizes in a 19th century colonial, which took a little ingenuity and a couple of trips to the hardware store. A December 2019 reviewer had a cellar bulkhead door custom built and said it looks like it came with the house. In a June 2017 review, a customer said FAB repaired a non-standard storm door that a previous contractor had said needed replacing, saving hundreds of dollars, and then hired them for a deck railing. A July 2021 reviewer had old moldy carpet replaced with floating interlocking tiles. A November 2021 customer thought the estimate for an entry door and storm door was high but was not disappointed with the work. A 2025 Reddit commenter in Quincy said that of the contractors who have worked on their house since 2018, Frank is the only one they trust for return business.
