Half the services FAB Enterprises lists are doors — exterior doors, storm doors, sliding doors, door hardware, door repair — and the reviews explain why. This is the shop people call for the opening that isn't a standard size. Frank Biancuzzo runs it out of Braintree, and the company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active in the company's own name. The work runs from doors and bulkheads to stairs, railings, decks, disability ramps and flooring, plus the small-repair list — a mailbox post here, a stuck pocket door there. The detailed reviews are all about problem openings. In a 2021 review a homeowner described him replacing a bulkhead door, an interior basement door and an exterior storm door in a 19th-century colonial, all odd shapes and sizes and a couple of trips to the hardware store. In 2017 another wrote that a previous contractor had told them their non-standard storm door had to be replaced; FAB repaired it instead and saved them hundreds. A 2016 customer whose new ramp anchor worked loose two weeks after the job got a same-day callback and the repair two days later. Punctuality comes up again and again — a 2016 review walked through exact arrival times and an on-schedule finish, a 2021 one said he shows up on time all the time and finishes when he says he will. Two things are worth knowing before calling. That record is mostly old: the bulk of it was written between 2016 and 2021, and only a few accounts have landed since 2024 — the most recent, in October 2025, a single line. And the 5.0 from 29 on Angi and the 5.0 from 29 on HomeAdvisor are one Angi-network listing shown twice, not two independent verdicts; BuildZoom carries one further five-star review. The same listing also can't settle how long the business has been running, claiming 12 years in one place and over 30 in another. Off the directories, a homeowner on r/QuincyMa in August 2025 named Frank — who they noted also does business as Biancuzzo Realty — as the only one of the four or five contractors who had worked on their house since 2018 they would hire again. For a door that doesn't fit, a bulkhead that needs a custom build, or a railing plus a punch list of small repairs, this is a sensible call. Ask for a reference or two from the last couple of years, and check the registration number yourself before work starts.
