Two people, twenty-one years, one trade. Fabio Moving Services has been moving Greater Boston households since 2005 — BBB records a sole proprietorship run by Fabio Montresor with Jenny Montresor as operations manager, working out of Harley Avenue in Everett. The company describes itself as family- and minority-owned, says it works in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and lists an unusually wide spread of towns for its size: Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Chelsea, Arlington and dozens more. The jobs it names are the everyday ones — apartments, houses, senior moves, offices, packing — plus the awkward items most crews avoid, pianos and safes. It also says Boston Magazine named it one of the 13 top-rated Boston moving companies. Outside word is scarce and old. In February 2021 a commenter in an r/boston thread asking for moving recommendations answered simply: "Fabio movers! So professional and nice!" That is five years back, and it is the only thing anyone has posted publicly about them. The Better Business Bureau grades the business A+, though it has not sought BBB accreditation. A reasonable shortlist entry for a small local move where you would rather deal with the owner than a dispatcher. Ask how many movers actually come with the truck — BBB counts two employees — and get the hourly rate and travel time in writing before the day.
