Farr's Tree Service is a tree company based in Waterbury that says it has been in business 51 years. Its website says it does residential and commercial tree work, specializing in the safe removal of unwanted and dangerous trees. The recent jobs are mostly big limbs and trees near houses. One recent Google customer had a large limb with a few cracks that could have landed on the house; Adam came quick to check it out, and within a few days they took it down. A recent customer who found a dangerous crack at the base of a large limb said the limb was removed the next day, no debris was left, and the cost felt very fair. A recent reviewer said they have used Farr's for years to maintain the trees on their property and called Adam and team super responsive. A recent customer described full clean-up after the job and clear, friendly communication from the office person. A 2026 customer wrote that Adam and his crew arrived on time and removed the trees as agreed, quickly and cleanly. A 2026 customer also thanked Colby Severance for getting a kitten named Lola safely down from a tree. A 2024 customer said they handled a very large tree removal after a tree fell on the customer's building and were accommodating to the emergency. A 2024 reviewer said they got down a host of windfall trees that were hung up, plus two 90+ foot locusts. In an April 2024 r/vermont thread, three commenters recommended Farr's, and one said a crew with chainsaws repaired a tree and cleaned up their property in about an hour, for about half of what others wanted. The HomeAdvisor accounts go back to 2014. A 2021 customer said they removed five very large, unsafe trees on a steep slope hanging over the house, trees that needed a crane, and finished within a week of the estimate. A 2015 customer said they removed three large pines at the price quoted and left the lawn and driveway raked clear of debris. A 2017 customer said the quote came in 15% under the competition and the work was done the day after, but the ruts left in the lawn could have used a little more work.

Wouldn't recommend any other company. They are fast to respond and very professional and friendly with smiles. We had a large limb that had a few cracks, it would of landed on our house if broke. Adam came quick to check it out and within a few days they came and took it down. Sonja stayed it touch to let us know when they were coming. Very sweet lady. Again we highly recommend Farr's. You won't be disappointed.

I discovered a dangerous crack at the base of a large limb in my back yard. They responded quickly with suggested solution and the next day the limb was removed. The process was fast and there was no debris left. I felt the cost was very fair. Most importantly they quickly remedied a situation that a storm could have easily damaged my house. Many heartfelt thanks to the crew and office staff.
