Fence 101 installs and repairs wood, vinyl, aluminum, steel and chain-link fencing plus railings, gates, arbors and pergolas for homeowners and, based on at least one 2026 review, municipal projects around greater Worcester and Boston's western suburbs; the Better Business Bureau, which has accredited the company since 2021, grades it A+. The reviews describe real craftsmanship on hard jobs: a vinyl fence installed around tree stumps and other obstacles, a black aluminum-and-chain-link combination fence split by what's visible from the street, and a crew that stayed nine straight hours the same day to finish installing between rocks and trees. Several customers are repeat business, including one who had Fence 101 replace a chain-link fence they'd installed four years earlier with vinyl. A Reddit commenter who used the company twice, years apart, called their pricing "middle of the road" but said they were faster to get to the job than competitors. The black fence around the bocce court being built at East Park on Shrewsbury st looks great but MAYBE YOU SHOULDNT BE SPRAY PAINTING IT WHILE KIDS ARE IN THE PARK BREATHING THOSE FUMES

We definitely recommend Fence 101. Meticulous, high quality work. Our new fence and gates look fantastic and the gates open and close smoothly, good sturdy hardware. Fabio was so easy to work with for estimate and scheduling.
Overall, we’re happy with the quality of the fence. It looks great, and the crew worked very hard in the extreme heat for two days. They were professional, respectful, and did excellent work. Unfortunately, the communication before and after the installation has been very disappointing. We were initially told installation would be in about four weeks. After five weeks with no updates, we called and were told it would likely be Tuesday or Thursday of that week. We never heard anything on Monday, and then on Tuesday, when we called again, we were told the crew was on their way. We would have appreciated advance notice so we could have been home if they needed anything and got the yard ready beforehand. The fence itself turned out great, but a transitional panel and our deck gate were not installed. We’ve been told twice last week that someone would come back to finish the work, but both times no one showed up or let us know plans had changed. We completely understand that delays and mistakes happen, but better communication and a reliable timeline would have made all the difference. It’s now been two weeks since the installation, and we still haven’t heard when the remaining work will be completed. The quality of the work is excellent, but the lack of communication throughout the process makes it difficult for us to recommend the company.
Horrible experience. Took 50 percent deposit for a fence repair and never came to do the job. Not returning the deposit so that I can find another contractor. Multiple calls and emails, no response. Don't ever work with them.
