Highlights
- Broad product line — bath, kitchen, lighting, hardware, appliances, flooring, HVAC, and more
- Not an installer — retail showroom and supplier, not an on-site repair contractor
- Counter service complaints — some third-party reviews call staff unprofessional or uninformed
- Limited independent reviews — most directory listings show few or no ratings
Ferguson Home in Lynn isn't a plumbing or HVAC company that shows up at your house — it's the local branch of a national bath, kitchen, and lighting retailer, a showroom and supply counter at 400 Lynnway where homeowners and contractors go to buy sinks, faucets, hardware, cabinets, and fixtures rather than to hire someone to install them. Google puts it at 3.3 stars across 44 ratings, and the write-ups beyond Google describe a business split down the middle. Trade and manufacturer listings call it a plumbing supplier serving the wider Lynn, MA area and a MasterBrand Cabinetry dealer, while shoppers disagree sharply about the counter experience itself: one account credits the parts department with tracking down a hard-to-match fitting and calls the help genuinely useful, while others describe staff as unprofessional, slow, and unfamiliar with the products in front of them. That split shows up across more than one site, which points to a real, ongoing inconsistency rather than a single bad visit. Independent corroboration outside Google is thin — a local consumer-ratings page lists only four ratings, and at least one other review directory shows none posted at all. Worth confirming before a special trip: whether the specific fixture or part is actually in stock at the Lynn location, and that any installation — plumbing, HVAC, or cabinetry — will need a separate licensed contractor, since this location sells the parts rather than doing the work. It's a reasonable stop for browsing or picking up plumbing and bath supplies, but go in prepared for a counter experience reviewers describe as inconsistent.

I had a very disappointing experience at this store. I came in with photos of the parts I needed, showing them clearly from all sides. Unfortunately, the staff seemed completely unprofessional and uninterested in helping. No one knew what the parts were, and they didn’t even want to engage in conversation to understand my request.

After a long time, someone reluctantly went to get the parts. He brought them back, put them down, and barely sorted them. The process was extremely slow and disorganized. In the end, I was left with the parts and a printed receipt—no packaging, no bag, nothing.

The customer service was terrible, and the staff’s lack of product knowledge made the experience even worse. Overall, I would not recommend this place for anyone looking for plumbing supplies or decent service.

I had a wonderful experience at Ferguson. It was my first time there and won't be my last. Mark Collins was the sales associate who helped me and he was great! Although my order wasn't huge, he still gave me all his attention and explained the products I was interested in.

We came here 5/2023 as we needed to replace our kitchen faucet. The sales rep was helpful, not pushy and told us the Kohler products in box stores were inferior to showroom stock which we had heard elsewhere. So we spent a little more & ordered the model we liked and had to wait 2 weeks for shipment from Kohler to our house. Last week the faucet started leaking (less than 1 yr) from the handle valve and our plumber said the cartridge is bad. I called Kohler yesterday and they will ship the cartridge under warranty, I called Ferguson and they don't stock the cartridges. So now I cannot use my kitchen sink or dishwasher as water had to be shut off, what good is a showroom if they do not have the products or replacement parts. Shame on Kohler!!
