Fielding's Oil & Propane Co delivers heating oil and kerosene, and its website posts delivery schedules for Maine and for New Hampshire's Concord/Manchester and Rochester/Portsmouth areas. A 2025 customer without heat called after hours, left a name and number, and said no one called back that evening, the next day, or after a follow-up email. That 2025 customer said Fielding's had delivered their oil for two years with quick deliveries. In a November 2024 Reddit thread, a poster said Fieldings was the cheapest of the suppliers they had tried and called it reliable.
“It is run by Fieldings oil, but offers a lower price if you use their online site.”
“We tried 4 different suppliers and Fieldings was the cheapest, and the most reliable.”
“Online Fuel Company (sister company of Fieldings oil)”
If I could give zero stars I would. I hired this company and they refused to fill my tank. The driver was rude and unprofessional. My oil tank was installed by a licensed NH plumber. The driver refused to fill it because he said it was outside and not by code, however it is in an outside enclosed dwelling to keep the weather off it. looked up the laws on the spot and he said it doesn’t matter. We got in an argument. Also my licensed plumber was confused….until the next day prices of oil rose $75 cents a gallon…hmmm suspicious. Now my grandfather sits outside their store waiting for the oil truck so he can report them to the DOT department of safety for having rusty wheels and not doing a check of his truck before they delivers. This is what happens when you let a disabled Vietnam veteran go cold. Beware of this company.
For an another greedy oil operation jacking up prices for oil they already have in tanks, and they don’t service burners in NH, THEY AREN’T BREAKING ANY RECORDS IN THE GOOD BUSINESS ZONE.
Great people, fine service
Called to get some heating oil.. gave them my credit card number over the phone and specifically told them not to charge my ex girlfriends credit card who's in Texas after giving my information they charged her anyway.. they refused to back charge her credit card and charge mine and suggested I send her money.. credit is credit cash is cash..so far they've refused to charge my card for oil I ordered.. their mistake.. fix it.. customer service sucks..
Called Fielding's after hours on 12/09/2025, cant remember the name of whom I spoke too over the phone, but I spoke to an older women. I explained to her that I was without heat & would like to get the issue addressed since it was probably 15 or 20 degree's outside. I left my name & number, she mentioned to me that someone will call me back. No one ever called me back that evening or the following day. Today is 12/20/2025 & I still have not heard back from anyone. On top of all that, I sent a follow up email on 12/18/25 & I have not heard back from that either. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with another company & have my heat back up & running on 12/10/25. I have had oil delivered from Fielding's for two years. Always quick deliveries & easy to pay them. But not at least following up with someone, especially someone that gets oil delivered from Fielding's semi-annually is just unacceptable. Actions like this is a great way to lose longtime customers for oil. Do better Fielding's!
