One homeowner put it about as plainly as a painter could want: the refinished cabinets came out equal to or better than the original factory finish. That is the work Finishing Touch is really built around — spray finishing on cabinets and millwork, done in the house without wrecking the kitchen. Ryan Tiezzi runs the Amesbury shop, which describes itself as a full-service painting and spray-finishing outfit serving Seacoast customers for 18 years, with Amesbury and Newburyport as its stated home turf. Residential interiors and exteriors are the bread and butter; cabinets and millwork are the specialty. The cabinet jobs draw the most detailed praise. This winter a customer had kitchen, dining and living room cabinets refinished and described crews being fastidious about masking and protecting every surface first; another in April got a smooth, even finish that lifted the whole kitchen; a third had cabinet refinishing paired with drywall repair and ceiling painting. The prep discipline is the constant — the finish quality people rave about is downstream of a day spent hanging plastic and covering counters. The painting side reads the same. A big exterior in July was sanded, prepped and given two fresh coats in under a week, with the site cleaned up at the end. On an interior job in February the crew arrived on time every day, moved the furniture, and covered surfaces before starting. One customer this summer got the crew in after their original painter blew the renovation schedule, and another found the team flagging additional areas that needed work once they were on site, rather than papering over them. Across 82 Google ratings averaging 4.9 and 64 reviews since 2021, the negatives are scarce. The one real snag anyone has raised is on the front end: a prospective customer spent an hour walking a large interior project with Ryan and then never received the promised quote. So if your project is big and you need a firm number, pin down when the estimate is coming and follow up rather than waiting. For kitchen cabinet refinishing, millwork, or a full interior or exterior repaint on the Massachusetts–New Hampshire seacoast, this is a strong, well-documented choice. Book early for exterior season and get the scope and start date in writing.

Ryan and his Team at Finishing Touch Paining did a fantastic job on painting the exterior of our house. While we changed the color, the crew sanded and prepped the house for the two new fresh coats of paint! It’s a big house and they were finished inside a week and cleaned up beautifully. They left our property cleaner than when they found it! Ours is the fifth house that Finishing Touch Painting has worked on in our neighborhood! We have even invited them back for another project. I would recommend Ryan and his Company to anyone that asks.

We agreed upon a plan before the team started but once they were there they identified other areas that needed improvement and worked efficiently to provide a professional finish throughout

We had a great experience with Finishing Touch Painting & Refinishing. Ryan really helped us out when we found ourselves in a bind after our original painter ran into scheduling issues and couldn't complete the job on our renovation timeline. Ryan was responsive, professional, and incredibly organized throughout the process. It's clear he leverages technology and strong systems to run an efficient business, which made communication, scheduling, and project coordination seamless from start to finish. Most importantly, Ryan and his crew delivered. They were able to mobilize quickly and complete the work in a very short timeframe without compromising quality. We are extremely grateful that Ryan stepped in when we needed help and got our project across the finish line. I will highly recommend Finishing Touch Painting & Refinishing to everyone!
