Tom is a true craftsman. Our 1875 home can be tricky as nothing is level, flush, or plumb to start. He works with us to make our visions reality and our home reflects his skill throughout. We’ve worked with him on all of our home projects for over 10 years (and will continue to work with him every time) on projects such as adding a custom fireplace and mantle to updating original stair treads to cresting built in bookshelves to building a pergola, Tom can do it all!

We completed a whole house renovation with Tom and Fitzgerald Builders. Tom's communcation is fantastic. This stood out at the beginning as we were discussing our project with multiple builders and continued through to finish. This was a huge project for us, and he showed great patience and fantastic attention to detail. He also did our kitchen cabinents and some other built ins and it all turned out wonderfully. His work speaks for itself, so much so that when he finished our project he moved next door to work with our neighbours.

We recently had our basement finished with Tom and Fitzgerald Builders and could not be happier with the final result. Tom and his team helped us design a space that’s both functional and beautiful - paying attention to every little detail along the way. From start to finish, Tom and his team were professional and communicative, while making sure we were satisfied with each step of the project. Not only was the quality of work unmatched, but I was always so impressed with how Tom took the time to explain the work he was doing, answer any and all questions we had, and clean up the job site each and every day. I could not recommend this company enough to anyone looking to finish their basement or renovate their home.

We have done dozens of projects of all sizes over many decades and have to say the clarity of communication throughout the process was truly superb. Tom set the table with realistic time lines and expectations. The structure of the tracking tech, clear reporting and empowerment of our Project Manager was excellent. We were blessed with our PM, Chris Boyle, who far surpassed our expectation by being exceptionally communicative, flexible, creative, and professional. We honestly have not experienced such a level of service in a construction project and look forward to doing our next with this team.

Tom is a wonderful and talented contractor. He understood our vision and executed it seamlessly. He is very reliable and trustworthy and very easy to work with. He made the process stress-free and finished on time. We would definitely hire again and highly recommend!
