We hired Flawless Construction & Development for a major exterior renovation on our home in Groton, MA. The scope was ambitious: full stone veneer install across the front elevation, metal roofing over front and back porches, complete PVC trim + fascia + soffit + frieze board replacement, new white cedar shingle repainting, exterior door painting, 22 new shutters, 6" seamless gutters, back sliding glass door replacement, back porch ceiling install, front porch railing, back porch railing on granite steps, front walkway paver install, fence replacement with gates, and more. It touched almost every trade — carpentry, roofing, masonry, hardscaping, painting, plus coordination with electrical work happening in parallel. Murilo (owner) ran the whole thing with clarity and integrity. He was accessible on text every day, transparent about design tradeoffs, and creative about accommodating our unusual asks (LED channel spacing in the walkway, PVC doorbell mounting panel, custom soffit lighting prep). When change orders came up — because they always do on projects this size — he explained the reasoning and priced them fairly. He even absorbed cost overruns on his own end without passing them to us. The crew is what really makes this company. Every single person who worked on our project — carpenters, painters, hardscapers, masons — was professional, polite, respectful of our home and our dog, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every workday. The workmanship is high quality across the board. When we found small issues during the punch-list walkthrough, they were addressed immediately, no pushback. Timeline: the project ran about as long as you'd expect for this scope (roughly 4-5 months of active work). Progress was consistent throughout, communication frequent, and the final walkthrough left us with essentially nothing outstanding. The result is transformative. Our home looks completely new — like a magazine spread. Neighbors have stopped by multiple times to ask who did the work. We are already planning to hire Flawless again for interior projects next year, and would recommend Murilo and his team to anyone considering a substantial home renovation. Best contractor experience we've ever had.
