Floor Coverings International

Floor Coverings International of Foxboro is a locally owned, independently operated franchise offering carpet, laminate, tile, vinyl, and hardwood flooring sales and installation via an in-home Mobile Flooring Showroom. Owner Dereck Bairos, a Rhode Island native with more than 15 years in the service industry, leads a team with a collective 30-plus years of experience, serving towns spanning the Massachusetts/Rhode Island border, including Franklin, Attleboro, Cranston, Providence, and Walpole. Independent coverage on patch.com corroborates that the business serves northern Rhode Island, Foxboro, and the surrounding towns. The review record is unusually deep, detailed, and consistent, spanning nearly every flooring type: hardwood, carpet, LVT/vinyl, and tile, in both residential and commercial settings, including a school project completed on time and on budget. Dereck is named by nearly every reviewer for hands-on involvement — meeting clients personally to walk through samples, providing knowledgeable, patient guidance on material choices, and overseeing installation. Several reviewers describe the company handling complications well beyond a standard install: one described Dereck coordinating with their builder after water damage uncovered the need for new subfloor and joists before the wood floors could go in, and another described a repair job in a condo after a basement flood. Many reviewers are repeat customers across multiple properties and projects, citing straightforward pricing and reliable timelines. The company holds a 5.0-star average from 110 Google reviews. Recent activity is very strong, with 26 reviews in the last six months and none negative. The written record shows no material complaints — reviews consistently describe punctual, respectful crews, clear communication throughout the process, and finished results that met or exceeded expectations, with several reviewers noting the company's patience through indecision on material choices. Floor Coverings International of Foxboro is a strong call for flooring projects of any scope, from a single room to full-home renovations and light construction coordination — the depth, consistency, and detail of its review record, especially around handling unexpected complications professionally, stand out.
