Vinyl stair work — May 2026 customer praised the detail and seamless result
Quoted timeline — May 2026 reviewer said work finished within three days
Customer updates — January 2025 reviewer received pictures while abroad during refinishing
Carpet replacement, hardwood refinishing and work on stairs are jobs VIP Flooring Pro’s customers describe. A May 2026 Google reviewer hired the company to replace carpet in a living room and on stairs with vinyl, and praised the detail on the stairs and the seamless result. Another May reviewer said the crew arrived when promised, stayed on schedule and finished within the quoted three days.
The company says it has 11 years in business and offers flooring installation, refinishing, repair, sanding, staining and restoration in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with VCT services also described for Connecticut. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active under VIP Flooring Pro Inc. Google showed a 5-star average from 78 ratings in August 2026; its Better Business Bureau grade was A-.
An August 2026 Thumbtack customer described Deivson and his crew replacing basement carpet with vinyl flooring. The customer called the initial quote fair and scheduling prompt. When the work revealed a need for leveling cement, they negotiated an additional cost the customer considered reasonable. They praised the finished floor and said Deivson sent a cleaning person to wipe away dust and leave it shining. An April 2026 Google reviewer separately said their hardwood floors were completed on time, named Davidson and praised the workers, painter and cleaner.
In a March 2026 Google review, a customer said VIP tied into their 1950s variable-width peg-and-plank oak flooring. The original floors had water damage and uneven heights; the customer described a smooth result that looked like one continuous surface, and called the pricing and timeline competitive after obtaining multiple bids. A December 2025 reviewer described expanding a planned refinishing job to include hardwood installation, saying Davison personally monitored the work and answered their questions.
A January 2025 customer had their first floor restained and refinished while abroad on vacation. They said the owner stayed in touch and sent pictures, and that an old carpet mark was almost entirely removed despite an earlier warning it might remain. In November 2024, another customer described luxury vinyl plank installation throughout a cottage, with work completed on schedule, decisions discussed with them and cleanup afterward.
Smaller repairs appear too. In December 2025, a customer needing an urgent stair-tread fix said VIP replied quickly, assessed the job the next day, provided a quote and repaired it the following week.

Deivson and crew replaced a carpet with vinyl blank floor in basement. The initial quote was fair; the scheduling was prompt; and when surprises arrived on starting the work, such as need for leveling cement, we were able to negotiate to arrive at a reasonable added cost; and, most importantly, the finished product looks great. He sent a cleaning person to wipe down any dust from the work and leave the floor shining.
The 2 gentleman who came to the property were early, hard working and got the job done. Overall great experience i will be using them again in the future!
I appreciated how punctual they were. They showed up when they said they would, stayed on schedule, and finished the job in the 3 days quoted. The whole process was smooth and the work came out well.
We recently hired VIP Flooring to replace the carpet in our living room and on our stairs with vinyl, and the transformation is incredible! The team did a fantastic job—their attention to detail, especially on the stairs, was impressive. They were professional, efficient, and the final result looks seamless. Great quality, professional service, and very easy to work with. If you’re looking to upgrade your flooring, I highly recommend them!
