Florence Electric

Florence Electric is the kind of electrical contractor people call for substantial commercial work, from senior-living projects to integrated building systems. The company is based on Pine Street in Canton, with a New Hampshire office, and says its foundation dates to 2004; it operates as a division of The Kaydon Group and names David Florence and William Gagan as contacts. The written customer history is short but positive. Google lists 4 stars from 19 ratings, while four quoted reviews from 2023 through 2025 include praise for the staff, commitment to a project, pricing, and work on electrical jobs of any size. A 2024 review simply calls them the people to go to for electrical work; older project mentions describe work for senior-living facilities and the Leonard Florence Center for Living. This is a commercial-focused operation, not a residential service shop: its own site describes licensed electricians, telecom and low-voltage, and security work on commercial projects, while Procore lists 67 projects and an average project size of $13.2 million. The BBB gives it an A+ grade but says it is not BBB Accredited, so that distinction is worth keeping in mind when comparing profiles. Florence Electric is a practical call for commercial electrical construction, communications infrastructure, or security systems. Before booking, confirm that the team takes on your project type and location, and ask which division and contact will manage the work.
