An August 2024 Houzz customer described gutting a home’s interior and redoing the floors, kitchen and two bathrooms with Tom Flynn. The customer stayed at their primary home during the renovation and said Tom communicated often and used subcontractors whose work they praised. Flynn High Performance is a Dennis, Massachusetts business that describes itself as an owner-operated design-build contractor for Cape Cod homeowners. Thomas Flynn is its president; the company says he handles estimates and works onsite as the single point of contact. It advertises kitchen, bathroom and whole-home remodeling, basement and garage conversions, carpentry, flooring and storm-water repairs, and names Nantucket as a service area. Flynn says his own work for Cape Cod homeowners goes back to the 1980s. BBB separately dates the business’s start and incorporation to May 2009. The company’s Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration 147951 is active. Thomas F Flynn’s construction supervisor licence CS-098040 is also active. BBB gives the business an A+ grade; it is not BBB accredited. In a December 2024 Google review, a customer described a complete remodel of an unfinished basement. Tom worked with them on the design and solved layout and logistics problems around mechanical systems that could not be moved. When the customer could not be onsite, he sent daily progress photos. They said the basement was completed on time and on budget and that they hired him again for a kitchen project, storm door and video doorbell installation. A March 2021 Houzz customer described a home overhaul that included removing a load-bearing wall, partitioning a study, remodeling the kitchen, updating a half bath and building a new master bath. They said it took five months from permitting to completion, on schedule and within budget. An August 2025 customer said Tom replaced a three-panel patio door without removing the awning they wanted to keep in place. He texted his estimated arrival time, and the customer praised his pricing. In a June 2025 Houzz review, a different customer described a sunroom rebuild: Tom ordered materials and supplies on schedule, worked mostly alone and secured the property when they were absent. In December 2025, a Google customer said Flynn High Performance arranged a plumber after their washer leaked behind the wall and onto the floor; the problem was fixed in a couple of hours. A separate December customer said Tom scheduled electricians who installed combination smoke detectors and a vanity light. The customer praised the electricians’ punctuality and the level, centered light installation.
