Frank Marchand has done a superb job of taking care of my plumbing needs for the past 40 years. Most recently he put in a new hot water heater. He’s reliable, quick to get back to me after I leave a message for him, clearly explains his solutions to my plumbing needs, promptly takes care of the problematic issue(s)…..all done with a smile and a sense of humor.
First time customer and very pleased! It was a small repair, but Frank returned my call promptly, arrived a short time later and the repair was completed right away. So courteous and professional! We are fortunate to have Frank Marchand Plumbing in our area.
As other reviewers have said, Frank is THE BEST! Yesterday my wife noticed small puddle of water under the well tank in the basement. Turned out to be a small leak coming from main shutoff valve. After tightening the connection from the valve to the main water line the leak was still there. On closer inspection I found that the leak was coming from a small crack in the valve housing and not from the threaded connection to the water line. So the valve needed to be replaced. I Googled 'plumbers near me' and found Frank. I called him, got his voicemail, and left a message. He called back within an hour and he was in my basement inspecting the leaking valve within 2 hours. He would have repaired it the same day but he needed a special part. So he came back the this morning and the repair was complete by 11:00 am! What GREAT service ... 'But wait' (as they say on cable-TV advertisements) - Before he left, Frank gave us a matted, antique map of Whately and a copy of an antique book on the history of Whately written and signed by a long-time friend of his. We're relatively new to Whately and these were wonderful 'Welcome to Whately' gifts especially since they had a lot if sentimental value to Frank. What a nice thing to do!! Frank has all our plumbing business for LIFE! And he's a great guy in addition to being a great plumber. VERY highly recommended!!
Cant say enough about Frank and his service. The tank on my hot water heater at my restaurant ruptured this morning. Without hot water you can't operate a restaurant. I called Frank and he was there within 15 minutes. He looked at my issue, drained the unit and said he would return after he went to another previously scheduled appointment. He was back in 2 hours and had the hot water heater replaced within an hour and a half. Great service and quality work.
