- Owner does the work — an owner-operated tree company, not a dispatch crew
- Only four reviews — all posted within three weeks of mid-2025

- No insurance stated — the site makes no insured or licensed claim
- Tenure unverified — 'over 30 years' is self-reported with no founding year
Frank's Tree Work is a one-man tree service based on Washington Street in Marblehead, covering Marblehead, Swampscott and nearby towns. The work is tree and shrub care rather than landscaping in the broad sense: removals, trimming and pruning, including hedges that are hard to reach. What the four reviews on file have in common is length of relationship. One customer writing in June 2025 said they had used Frank for more than twenty years, described him studying a tree's growth pattern and shape before making any cut, and said they would not trust another arborist with their trees. Another, also writing in June 2025, said Frank had handled multiple trees for them over many years and that they call nobody else when a trim is needed. The other two accounts from mid-2025 are shorter and echo the same points: on time, knowledgeable, professional, and excellent work at a fair price. All four are five stars and all four were posted within a three-week window in late May and June 2025, which is the pattern of a one-off request for reviews rather than a running record. That is the whole published history — four Google reviews and the company's own site, which claims over thirty years of experience without naming a founding year. Nothing on file speaks to how the business prices larger removals, whether it carries insurance, or what happens when a job goes wrong. For Marblehead or Swampscott homeowners wanting pruning or a removal from someone who has worked the same trees for years, the accounts here are consistent and specific about care and judgment. Ask for a certificate of insurance and a written price before any removal, since nothing published covers either.

I’ve used Frank for more than 20 years. He is incredible. He studies the tree’s growth pattern and shape before doing any trimming. I wouldn’t trust any other arborist with my trees. Frank is personable and professional as well
