Pro Tree Service

Every one of Pro Tree Service's 25 reviews on Angi is five stars, a streak running from 2021 through early 2026. The Lynn, Massachusetts company handles residential and commercial tree removal, pruning, trimming, stump grinding and debris cleanup, and reviewers describe working directly with a crew lead named Hector, who shows up on-site and runs the job himself. The reviews keep circling back to the same things: a written quote given up front, on-time arrival, and a thorough cleanup afterward — branches, debris, and sawdust gone before the crew leaves. Several describe more demanding work handled carefully: 16 large white pines pruned at the back of one property, a tree taken down branch by branch near a house with no damage to the roof or deck, and a job cutting 40 to 60 feet up along a busy main road while a specialized machine kept a nearby lawn untouched. One reviewer's neighbor ended up hiring the crew too after watching them work. One thing worth asking about: a 2025 review noted the crew showed up a little late on the day of the job itself, though they explained the delay — worth confirming a firm arrival window when booking. The 25 reviews also appear on both Angi and HomeAdvisor, but they're the same shared record rather than two independent sets, so the track record — while consistent — runs through a single review pool. For a straightforward removal, pruning job, or stump grinding, Pro Tree Service is a strong call; get the written quote in writing and pin down the arrival time before the crew is scheduled.
