Trent was knowledgeable, thorough, and patient.
Clear and fast communication, friendly service. They replaced my chimney liner and updated the stack.
My experience as a whole was not that great. I have a smoke stack not even a traditional chimney. I knew before they came out that the smoke stack cap was in need of replacing and this was first and foremost of concern however, an inspection was also requested. "Upon inspection" and after they cleaned the smoke stack they informed my significant other that they'd recommend tearing the entire line out due to the sole reason that the cap size is discontinued and the cap tabs were ripped off. When I called the office and spoke with someone they stated that they would be sending over a proposal to have the work done. My concern was a couple of things here.....why continue to clean the smoke stack if you were going to tell me to rip it all out simply because the cap(which in fact is carried right in home depot. I know i went and bought it) size is "discontinued and why charge $300 for you to shine a flashlight down my smoke stack?? They say they sent a camera down but.....thats not believed to be the case. Now they did refund me $100 for cleaning the smoke stack since the whole situation smelled a bit shady and even went as far as to tell me they'd research the cap and install it for free and would be back in touch with me that was a week ago and I have not heard anything. they didnt offer services that they claimed they offered they attempted to be shady but have not kepted their word with making it right. Lesson here: pay attention and advocate for yourself cause if youre not educated or are willing to do the research companies will try and take advantage of you as they tried here.
