Freedom Pest Control works out of Peabody, handling the calls that make a homeowner want someone on-site fast — ants marching through a kitchen, mice getting into a basement, a hornet nest under the stairs. On Google the pattern is stark: 448 ratings, averaging 5 stars, and a tally that runs past 300 reviews going back to 2024 across several sites — a long, consistent record for a residential pest outfit. What stands out reading through this spring's reviews isn't a slogan, it's names. Customer after customer calls out the specific technician who showed up — Jonathan, Shane, Todd, Lenny, Greg, Scott, Kyle, George — and describes the same thing each time: they walked the property, explained what they were doing and why, and answered questions before starting. One customer re-signed for mice control after a year off and asked that the same technician, Scott, handle every future visit. Thirty-three reviews came in over the last six months, and only one of them was negative. That one is worth knowing about. A customer says a technician's spraying equipment broke partway through the visit, so only part of the job got done — but they were still billed for the full service and didn't realize the work was incomplete until they called to check. Sorting it out took a 20-minute hold. It's one account among three dozen recent reviews, but it points to a real gap worth asking about: what happens, and what you're charged, if equipment fails mid-job. For the everyday residential jobs — ants, mice and rodent exclusion, wasps and hornets, ticks and mosquitoes — the volume and consistency of praise here is hard to argue with. Book them for a routine pest problem, ask for one of the technicians customers keep naming if scheduling allows, and before the crew leaves, confirm what you're being billed for and that the job was actually finished.

They came for the service. Were able to do only part of it because the spraying machine was broken. I was charged full service amount. I called to confirm. They were not even aware that i did not receive full service. I was on hold for 20 minutes. Not a good service.
