Great work done by Freegard, leveling space for a shed, leveling space for a firepit and gazebo, grading the driveway and digging some space and adding rock for better drainage on property. Seriously amazing work done on budget and on time. They were friendly to talk to, hard working, and had the equipment ready to go on the day of work. Gave me all sorts of tips and tricks as a DIY person myself to get some of my own projects done, as well as where to pick up good materials. It's also wonderful working with someone local owning their own business. 5 stars, would hire again on the spot!

I cannot say enough good things about Freegard Excavation! They were able to come out quickly and review the site plans, listened to everything I wanted done, provided recommendations for the best way to accomplish it, and had a quote to me within 48hrs. We scheduled the work to begin just a few days later and even finished ahead of schedule. Throughout the process, they were incredibly friendly and checked in at each stage of the work. I'm thrilled by the finished product and would recommend them to anyone!
Freegard Excavation exceeded my expectations when they paved my residential driveway this spring. My driveway had some complex drainage problems that caused my garage to flood every time we had heavy rain. Shawn Freegard solved our problem: he drew on his experience with roadway drainage to build a driveway that kept us dry in yesterday’s torrential downpour. While the work was happening, his highly professional, swift work and the well-orchestrated coordination between the excavators and pavers were the talk of the neighborhood. The final invoice was nearly identical to the estimate, and it was very consistent with other estimates I received from bigger companies.
