The pattern running through them is speed and tidiness: a 2021 customer said the central air install was done "unbelievably fast at a great price"; a 2022 furnace-and-AC customer wrote that the crew double- and triple-checked their work and cleaned the area "so it was like they were never there." Thumbtack publishes 5.0 from 26 ratings — 100% of them five-star — alongside 9 hires and 37 project photos. Two things temper that. Everything customers have written stops in 2022, so nothing is less than four years old, and it all sits on a single platform: the company's Angi page, at the same Melrose address, carries no reviews. That Thumbtack listing also now reports the pro can't take the job, which may mean it isn't accepting work there. The two profiles disagree on basics, too — Angi says 16 years in the trade against Thumbtack's 12, and Angi lists credit card where Thumbtack says cash and check. The company describes itself as a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor offering a 12-year manufacturer warranty on Mitsubishi equipment, and as a Mass Save heat-pump installer that helps assemble rebate and loan paperwork. Both are worth confirming directly, along with current availability, before planning a summer install around them.
