Gauthier Insulation, Inc.

Gauthier Insulation, Inc. is an Ipswich-based insulation contractor serving the North Shore and Merrimack Valley, from Amesbury and Gloucester to Andover, Haverhill and Lowell. The company describes itself as owner-operated by Kurt Gauthier, who it says has run the business since 2004 and is on every job site, working with both homeowners and contractors and registered as a Mass Save installer. The Better Business Bureau lists the corporation as started and incorporated in October 2007, with one employee and Kurt Gauthier as president. Homeowners on Reddit recommend him by name. In an October 2025 r/massachusetts thread asking for Mass Save insulation recommendations, a commenter suggested Gauthier Insulation, explaining they had first had a Mass Save assessment because of constant cold spots in their home. In a September 2026 r/northshore thread about attic insulation, a homeowner in a municipal gas and electric town said Gauthier Insulation did their job; they had also gotten quotes from Jones and Polar Bear, thought all three were good, and said they liked Kurt the best personally. Kurt Gauthier holds Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration 173410, shown as active in the state registry, and the company's website also lists a construction supervisor licence number. The BBB rates the company A+, though it is not BBB accredited.
