The company also says it was recently awarded the DCAMM HVAC contract for Roxbury Community College's campus renovation. That is a commercial and institutional contractor, not a residential service shop, and the permit trail agrees: 23 projects on record, five of them in the last three years, one over a million dollars. Its Massachusetts sheet metal business licence is active against the state registry, and its Supplier Diversity Office minority business enterprise certification is registry-verified through August 2029. The BBB grades it A+ while noting that customer reviews play no part in that grade, and dates incorporation to February 1981 with eight employees. The written customer record is one review, and it is unhappy — a hard sell on an overpriced system on the first visit, then no follow-up once the new system was in. A single complaint is not a pattern, but it is the only account from someone who paid for the work. Tenure is muddled: its own homepage claims 20 years in one place, more than 30 in another and 36 in a third, while the BBB file points to 1981. BuildZoom separately lists a stack of Massachusetts licences under the company name — plumbing, electrical, pipefitting — several marked unverified with expiries running back to 2010 and 2016, and one electrical business licence shown as inactive. For a building owner or general contractor sourcing commercial HVAC — chillers, rooftop plant, cooling towers, ventilation — the project list and the permit history are the real signal. Ask which licence covers your scope, and ask for references on comparable buildings, because almost none of this work has been written up by the people who paid for it.
