Gladiators Moving Inc. Of Wakefield

In April 2025, a household was left scrambling when another moving company failed to appear on the morning of their move. Gladiators stepped in the same day. That is one of 111 reviews going back to 2020 for a Malden outfit that works the Boston area; its site says Vitalijus started the company in 2015 and now runs more than ten movers and three trucks across Massachusetts. Reviewers tend to thank the movers by name — Tony, Sergei, Oleg, Sid, Salem and Vitalijus himself come up again and again through 2025 and 2026. On Google the company carries a 5-star average across 106 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.9 stars from six, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+. The jobs customers describe go past boxes and a truck. A 2024 reviewer watched an upright piano go up a flight of stairs and said it came through needing only the tuning it was already due. In April 2025, a crew helped a family clear out an apartment after a burst sprinkler pipe flooded it, taking a bed apart and putting it back together. Longer hauls turn up too: a two-truck move from Massachusetts to Ohio in May 2024, a Massachusetts-to-Maryland move in May 2026, and a September 2025 job where the movers carried boxes up four flights. They also bend on scheduling. A March 2026 customer changed the moving date more than five times while a purchase dragged on, and wrote that the owner stayed professional, communicative and understanding throughout. The company publishes all-inclusive hourly rates on its site; a March 2026 reviewer called the pricing competitive, and a July 2026 customer said the price was fair. The complaint to weigh is a one-star review from October 2025: that customer scheduled a time and says nobody showed up. Confirm your date and arrival window in writing when you book, and ask what the hourly rate covers — stairs, wrapping materials, travel time — before the truck is loaded. For a local move, a college move-in or a long haul out of state, this is a crew that arrives with names attached and puts the furniture back together at the other end.
