A 2026 customer who said they had used the company for 3 years wrote that, over maybe 10 visits, no one was able to explain their aux heating system. In that 2026 review, the customer said a tech on the last visit showed up under the influence and told them they did not have aux heat, and that a competitor then found the aux and fixed a wire that was not communicating with the heat pump. The 2026 customer also said the owner was supposed to call to explain but never did, and that the company sent a bill for service instead. A 2025 customer said the company sent someone out almost immediately for an air conditioning issue. A 2024 customer said they had used Good Hill for HVAC repairs for 17 years. A 2023 customer said the company came to the house when called and did the repair work fast and correctly. A 2025 reviewer thanked Mr. Martinelli and Margaret, writing that years earlier he had helped with a hot water heater knowing the reviewer could not afford one.
“Good Hill Mechanical Services Inc. at 53 Main Street South, Woodbury, donated a new hot water heater to resident Narda Alicea.”
Don't like writing bad reviews but they had their chance to make it right. Been using them for 3 years. Maybe 10 visits no one was able to explain aux heating system. Last visit a tech showed up under the influence and told me I didnt have aux heat and heat pump couldn't keep up with cold. Well the next day was 48 degrees and had same problem. Well I used a competitor and within 2 min he shined an infrared gun on ceiling and said there's your aux. he also fixed an easy wire that wasn't communicating with heat pump. Easy peasy. Plus showing up smelling like alcohol is unprofessional and inappropriate. Constant wrong info. They said owner would call me to explain. Never did. Instead they sent me a bill for service. I'll pay it but that's the last of them. Way too many options to treat your customers this way. Not a good business.
Mr. Martinelli and Margaret are close to angels you will ever meet. Years ago when I didn't have hot water for 5 years he helped me with a hot water heater knowing I couldn't afford one I didn't even have running water in my kitchen because I had no kitchen. I couldn't keep up with the house repairs because of no money. Unfortunately after my husband died and my mom at the same time I lost everything and eventually my house and became homeless but I will always remember how he was there for me and Margaret Mr. Martinelli is a strict person but with a big hearrt. Mr. Martinelli if you are reading this I want to thank you for all you done. God bless you! Narda Castro
I had an air conditioning issue and they sent someone out almost immediately. The tech was super friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. I highly recommend them!
Goodhill is the only team I would ever use for my HVAC repairs! They are simply the best in regards to professionalism and quality of work. The service group is extremely busy and there is a reason for that. Because customers like myself who have them for 17 years keep coming back when needed. Extremely reliable, great technicians and extremely knowledgeable with all systems.
Had a good experience with calling Good Hill Mechanical. They came to my house when I called and did the repair work fast and correctly.
