A disputed dishwasher diagnostic visit dominates the written customer history for GoPro Appliance Repair Inc. In a September 2017 Google review, a customer said the technician told them no diagnostic was needed because the problem was evident from the initial call. The customer said the boss nevertheless demanded payment for the visit and shouted at them over the phone. They described the interaction as intimidating and accused employees of lying in subsequent calls. These are the customer's allegations about that visit. Google gives the company a 1-star average from three ratings. Its written reviews date from 2016–2017: a February 2016 reviewer described unprofessional, unaccommodating service that cost them money, and a December 2016 reviewer strongly criticized its appliance repairs.
If there was a way to denote no stars my rating would be lower. This company is unethical. In my case they scheduled a knowingly unnecessary diagnostic visit for me. When the tech arrived he told me there was no diagnostic required--the problem with my dishwasher was evident from my initial phone call. The "boss", however, took the position that since the tech had stepped into my unit to deliver that news I would need to pay for the visit anyway (incredibly screaming at me over the phone that if I hadn't intended to pay--essentially for nothing-- I shouldn't have allowed the tech in.) Not only was this man unethical, but intimidating and bullying as well. In subsequent calls I learned that employees are also prone to lying. BEWARE! Do not allow yourself to be scammed by this company.
Can not say enough BAD! You guys should NOT be in appliance repairs.
Very poor. Unprofessional, not accommodating, and cost me money.
