Half a dozen reviewers describe exactly that — Vadym looking at photos, walking them through the fix on the phone, and, as a November 2025 customer put it, not charging anything for it. One caller in June 2026 was told the problem might be plumbing, which the company doesn't service, and got troubleshooting help anyway. The business runs out of 19 Pine Street in Bedford and describes itself as family-owned, covering Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Arlington, Lexington, Waltham and the towns around them. Its site traces the company to California in 2007 and to Greater Boston in 2016. On Google, the average across 179 ratings is a flat 5.0. A January 2026 customer called about a squeaky Maytag dryer bearing and said that for a little extra Vadym rebuilt the machine, then checked the oven and explained a baking problem. In October 2025, another had both a dryer and a washing machine repaired within a couple of weeks, at $365 for the washer. A December 2025 reviewer's ordered part went in at 5pm the day before Thanksgiving; that same month, a customer whose dishwasher problem two plumbers could not solve said he talked through what was happening and fixed it. He gets called back. A March 2026 reviewer had phoned him twice in a year about the same washing machine, a January 2026 customer had used him a few times for a gas stove and a dishwasher, and in a February 2024 review a homeowner listed a washing machine, a Bosch fridge heating up and a Bosch dishwasher that wouldn't drain. A June 2025 customer with a stacked washer-dryer in a tight city spot said he ordered the part, came back the next day and worked more than two hours on it. One practical note before you dial: a Somerville Reddit commenter who has had an LG washer and dryer repaired by Vadym wrote in 2026 that a 978 number may belong to a different company with a very similar name, and said they couldn't vouch for that one. Make sure you have the Bedford company's line. If a single appliance has quit and you would rather be told it isn't worth fixing than sold a repair, this is the shop for it. Get the price up front — one reviewer noted the job stayed inside the quote.
