Gosselin Woodworking is a one-man cabinetry and millwork shop out of Bedford, New Hampshire — the kind of outfit homeowners call for a kitchen that needs to be built to fit, not bought off a shelf. Rick Gosselin has run it for over 30 years, working kitchens, cabinets and built-ins across Manchester, Nashua, Derry and the rest of the towns south of the White Mountains. The five written reviews on file are all from 2016, and they read less like customer feedback and more like people writing to say thank you. In a December 2016 review, a client thanked Rick by name for hitting a tight deadline on a kitchen renovation before Thanksgiving. Another, from that November, describes hiring him for cabinets across four separate projects over ten years, calling the cost reasonable each time. A July 2016 review walks through an entire kitchen job day by day — showing up on time every day, containing dust, measuring twice before cutting, and finishing on the exact day he'd committed to. A fourth, from April 2016, describes a different kind of project entirely: custom credenzas, desks, a herringbone cork floor and crown molding built into a home office and living room. Every review on file is five stars, and every one of them describes specific work rather than vague praise. There's nothing to flag from the written record itself: no complaint, no pricing dispute, nothing about a missed date. What's worth knowing going in: the written record on file stops in 2016 — there's nothing more recent to point to about how the shop is running today, so it's worth asking directly about current lead times and availability. Gosselin is a fit for a homeowner who wants built-to-size cabinetry or custom millwork rather than a full gut renovation — kitchens, home offices, built-ins — and the old reviews suggest confirming timeline and scope up front is exactly what past clients found paid off.

Rick, I wanted to ensure that you understood how grateful I am that you were able to meet the very tight schedule on the renovation to our kitchen. You promised and you delivered. I appreciate your professionalism and your attention to detail. You worked tirelessly and met every obstacle that you encountered. Thanks to you, our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I would be very happy to act as a reference for you and your team. First rate!!! Obviously if we had a need in the future, you will be our first call. Jeff Weinstein
Rick has made cabinets for us on 4 separate projects and has always provided quality workmanship for a reasonable cost. He understands our needs, is easy to work with and always very professional. I love every item he has made and installed over the last ten years.
Thoroughly enjoyed working with Rick. He's very knowledgable, skilled and professional. He does great work and is very prompt and keeps a clean worksite. I would recommend him highly!
Rick Gosselin is by far the BEST contractor, bar none, I have ever had into my home(s) for any repair, renovation or installation! I was fortunate to hear of Rick from my realtor (whom I still call for referrals, questions etc after 14yrs - a good realtor is a great resource). Showed up on time for our first meeting and every day throughout the project! Rick: STARTED on the day he said he would Showed up every day! Worked all day Kept things (dust, materials etc) contained as best possible; cleaned as he went; left the work area organized at end of day. Measured several times when laying out cabinets. Reviewed the layout several times before finalizing. Had MANY little helpful suggestions that we would not have thought of and made a significant positive impact on the finished kitchen. Asked and explained when modifications were needed. Does his own painting/finishing of the cabinets which allowed us to be able to select colors that worked for us. Attention to detail and craftsmanship on all trim and finishing was superb! Arranged competent and like minded, quality conscious subs as needed to keep the job moving. Has a relationship with subs that he trusts to show up on time and finish their piece as needed. Guided us to help understand where we could save and where we should not make concessions. Thorough planning, layout and review of all aspects allowed for a job quote that came in on budget, as presented. FINISHED the job on the day he committed to at the start! Rick was extremely professional, respectful of our family and home, friendly, trustworthy and ALL other positive attributes you would hope to find (in a friend) and certainly in an unknown tradesman working in your home. I recommend Rick Gosselin to anyone I talk with that may benefit from his services. I would not consider anyone else for future projects that I may have. If you are fortunate enough to work with Rick you will be absolutely thrilled with the results!
Rick and his team at Gosselin Woodworking transformed my home office and remodeled my out of date living room into a stunning, comfortable reading room whichI love and my friends admire. My husband and I wanted to create a home office that supported the way both my husband and I work and the realities of the space. Rick sat with us and helped us design, and then built and installed, custom credenzas and desks. He installed a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, herringbone cork floor. The library and office flow into each other with Gosselin Woodworking wood valances and crown molding. The Gosselin Woodworking guys were knowledgable, flexible and, just as they described, old fashion master craftsmen with a commitment to quality and service. I recommend them to all my friends and will use them for my next home project.
