Several of these customers came to Granite State Wildlife Control after paying someone else first. One, writing on Thumbtack in September 2025, had a fieldstone foundation and a mouse problem, said the money spent on traditional pest control bought bait boxes they could have ordered themselves, and went looking for someone who does exclusion specifically. Another, in February 2026, wanted rats dealt with without poison entering the food chain, and said the company had a way to do it. What customers describe is sealing a building rather than treating it. In October 2025 one homeowner had a rodent seal-up done and wrote that the crew walked them through every step and showed photos of each area they had treated; another that month said a squirrel problem was handled right away and the entry points patched. In November 2025 a Thumbtack customer said Matt set traps while explaining what he was looking for, inspecting the vulnerable parts of the structure for signs of infestation. Speed comes up again and again. A July 2026 customer whose contractor stopped a kitchen demolition after finding mouse droppings in the insulation and ceiling said the company got back to them quickly while they were panicking about who to call. An October 2025 caller was on the schedule the next day. A November 2025 customer said Dave answered every question quickly and thoughtfully, worked with them on the estimate, and charged what they thought was a fair price. The company works out of Stoneham. Its Thumbtack profile puts it at 5.0 from 21 reviews, a current Top Pro hired 49 times, with three employees and two years in business, offering poison-free rodent and wildlife removal and exclusion with a warranty, and lists David Maloney as background checked. On Google it holds 5 stars from five ratings. For mice in a fieldstone cellar, squirrels in an attic, or rats you want gone without bait, that is the job these customers describe: inspect, seal the ways in, document what was done. Ask what the warranty covers and for how long, and whether follow-up visits are part of the quoted price.
My contractor was starting demo of the kitchen when he found a ton of mice droppings in the insulation and ceiling and didn't feel safe doing the removal. I was a little panicked wondering who to call. I found Granite Wildlife and they were very responsive, getting back to me within a half hour and came out the next day for an estimate. The price was extremely reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised. They came out the next business day and completed the job in about 6 hours. The area was isolated and a HEPA filter vacuum was used. They did a great job with the removal of the dry wall and insulation and the sanitizing afterwards. An all over easy and wonderful experience when I thought it was going to be a huge headache!! Thank you!
Matt was amazing at diagnosing the problem and coming to an affordable solution for us. We look forward to seeing the work done. I would definitely recommend!
Excellent service. Very friendly folks. Explained the whole process and made the whole process easy. Highly recommend!
Where to begin... AMAZING doesn't even seem to suffice! Let's start with what happens when you get the wrong company......My mom hired the wrong company a year ago for bats, mice and squirrels in our attic at her cabin in NH. What a waste of money with that company - within a year they came back. Now the BEST OF THE BEST..... I researched and hired Granite State Wildlife. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! Dave and his team did an inspection, gave us several options and helped us through the entire process from start to finish. They did an AMAZING JOB! They are the ONLY company I would use going forward. We were kept informed throughout the whole process of what was happening, texts about when they were arriving and when the work was done. The amount of pictures before and after along with a consultation call a few times throughout the process and have set up preventative steps for going forward. All I can say is if you are looking for the ABSOLUTE BEST, look no further! Thank you so much Granite State Wildlife you put our family at ease and gave us peace of mind!
We have a rat problem since the pandemic. I do not want to use poison that gets in the food chain. Granite State offered me an effective solution to control them without poison.
