An October 2025 bureau customer separately said both the quoted cost and the promised timeframe matched the finished drawer-repair job. In a February 2024 account, a customer described Colin rebuilding the broken feet of an antique china cabinet and reattaching its lower wooden section after moving damage. Colin Green repaired a problem we encountered with a thermofoil kitchen cabinet. He is a meticulous worker, obtaining the best color match for the repair and mimicking the texture of the original cabinet. A good communicator from start to finish. I highly recommend him for any detailed woodworking.
When I met Colin, I learned fast that he was highly skilled and professional at his work. He explained clearly what he was going to do to repair our chair. I received the chair and it is solid and looks like new. We will surely bring him other project in the future. Thank You
Colin Green of Green Woodworking and Restoration is a true craftsman in the Farmington Valley area. I cannot overstate how truly capable he is. We ended up using him after an exhaustive effort trying to find someone capable of custom cabinetry. We were looking to make room for a larger sink in our kitchen which required rearranging the current cabinet layout and installing/matching custom cabinets that could accommodate the planned larger sink. The end results have come out flawlessly. The door fronts and colors are indistinguishable from the original cabinets. Colin is the only person I’m aware of that can pull something like this off. We began planning in early May and have just completed the project near the end of August. This was slightly longer than we had originally expected however the majority of the delay was the result of factors outside of either of our control. All said and done our project did end up coming in around 10% over-budget however we agreed on the cost increases which were the result of unforeseen modifications that were necessary and outside of the original plan. Ultimate he proved to be skilled enough to say yes to a job many others weren’t capable of taking on and capable of delivering flawless results.
